Material of lipp steel storage silo

To ensure the long service life and high quality of lipp steel silo, Flyer adopts high intense galvanized steel as silo construction material.
The silo body is composed by galvanized steel plate, the galvanized steel plates are offered by Han Steel Group which is one of the largest steel material manufacturers and suppliers in China. The plate has the characteristic of anti corrosion, high strength, good looking, low cost and so on.

Our galvanized steel plate takes the electrostatic painting technology, the galvanized layer is much more joint with the steel plate, and a more important way, the layer can prevent the steel plate away corrosion. The zinc coat is thick and compact, and the amount of zinc can reach 600g/m2, the more the zinc each squire meters contains, the anti corrosion ability will be better.
Different silos adopts different thickness of steel plate.
For different diameters of steel silos, designer will choose the proper thickness of steel plate. The thickness of steel plate ranges from 2mm to 6mm.

Equipment of building lipp steel storage silo

• Steel roller decoiling machine

This machine is used to decoil the galvanized steel plate coils, this is the first step of silo building, so that the steel plate can access to the bending machine.

• Steel plate bending machine

This machine can bend the steel plate with certain radian required by the diameter of the target storage silo.

• Silo forming machine

The silo forming machine machine is the most important equipment in silo building, steel plate after going through this machine will be folded together and the body of silo is formed.

• Silo supporting bears

Supporting bears is help to support the silo body, ensure the silo body can keep rising till the prospect height.

Double seam system

Double seam system is a unique feature of lipp steel silo. In the construction of silo installation process, the edge of galvanized steel plate are folded twice by our silo bending and forming machine. In this way, even the most aggressive material inside the silo can not find any leak to attack, the anti corrosion ability is beyond comparable.

The silo’s maximum safety can be achieved by using the Double-Seam system. The unique structure of the Double-Seam not only guarantees the storage tank’s leak-tightness, but also makes sure the silo can possess great stability, even the largest silos can resist huge horizontal pressure.
